Help Us Give Penny Horsey a Beautiful Farewell

My name is Richard Horsey Jr., born and raised in Elmira, NY. On Monday, 12/2/2024, I lost my beloved wife of 24 years, Penny "Candy" Horsey. Penny was born on May 30th, 1972, and worked at Sam's Club where we met and where she retired after 20 years of service. Penny was a dedicated member of Jurney Church in Horseheads, NY, for 24 years. Penny and I share 3 beautiful young daughters together—Gabrielle Elizabeth Horsey (20 years old), Tiffany Grace Horsey (16 years old), and Livia Leeya Horsey (12 years old).

Penny was a loving, dedicated wife and mother to our 3 girls. A dedicated member of Jurney Church, she was always willing to help others, and her love and compassion for other people never went unnoticed. She taught Sunday school and was also the director. In 2024, Penny was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away on 12/2/2024 within the same year. Through her long and tough battle, she was a beacon of light who never gave up and strived to take care of our family and care for her mother, Rose.

As a grieving husband and widower, my family and I are all devastated losing our beloved Penny and were not prepared for the high cost of the funeral service. My family and I want to give Penny the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to cover the cost of Penny's funeral.
