“Our sweet Patience, lovingly known as “PayPay,” was truly a light in our lives. With her warm spirit and beautiful smile, she had a gentle way of brightening any room she entered. She loved her family deeply and stood by them with a quiet strength that meant so much to us all. Most of all, she loved the Lord, and we hold on to that faith now more than ever.

On the morning of Saturday, March 28, 2026, our hearts were broken as we lost Patience in a tragic car accident on Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville. The loss is unimaginable, and we are still trying to find our way through the pain.

Patience was a proud student of Chapel Hill High School, holding close her roots and the legacy of Langston Hughes. She was thoughtful, bright, and preparing to step into a new chapter of life. She was so close to graduation this May, a moment we had all been looking forward to celebrating together.

She faced kidney challenges with courage and grace, and today we find comfort in believing she is at peace and fully healed.

While we may never understand why her time with us was cut short, we trust that her life had purpose and that her love and spirit will continue to live on through all who knew her. The impact she made was quiet but powerful, and it will not be forgotten.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are humbly asking for support as we prepare to lay our beloved Patience to rest. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and will help us honor her life with the care and love she deserves.

Thank you for your prayers, your kindness, and your support. It means more to us than words can express.”She was a "Fire Cracker," always lit up a room with the prettiest smile. She would go to war for her family and was able to give her life to the Lord.
