With deep sadness I must inform you that my father has passed away today November 16, 2025. Our family is heart broken by this loss and we appreciate your support and prayers during this time of grief.

"Cholita, I will not be able to accompany you anymore and I am sorry that I could not do more for you and the family." Were the words my father said before he could no longer speak coherently anymore. Three weeks ago, our family received the kind of news no one is ever prepared to hear. My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, aortic valve calcification, pleurisy, and a tumor resting dangerously close to his heart giving him days or maybe a week. He is now at home under hospice care, surrounded by love as we cherish every moment we have left.

As we begin the painful process of preparing for the end of his life, we are doing our best to arrange the funeral and resting place he deserves. With humble hearts, we are asking for help in reaching our $10k goal for the basic funeral package so that we can honor him with dignity and peace. During this incredibly difficult time, we simply do not have the means to cover the full costs on our own, and any support—big or small—means more to us than words can ever express.
