This is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to write. For a long time, we’ve kept our family’s struggles private, but today, we’re reaching out for help. Our mom has battled addiction for years, and while we’ve hoped and prayed for her recovery, the toll it has taken on her body has now brought us to a critical moment.

Recently, we nearly lost her. She was rushed to the hospital with severely low hemoglobin levels, requiring urgent blood transfusions. Her doctors warned us that without immediate treatment, the risk of severe complications — even leukemia — was dangerously high. While we are deeply grateful that she is still with us, her hospital stay has left us with a medical bill that our family simply cannot afford. Unfortunately, her insurance did not cover a significant portion of the expenses.

But there is hope.

Something changed during this terrifying experience. For the first time, our mom has chosen to face her illness head-on. She has taken the courageous step of seeking help and joining (AA) and is committed to rebuilding her life, one day at a time. She is ready to embrace change and live a life free from addiction.

We want nothing more than to support her on this path, but we need your help. Our first step is to cover her medical expenses so she can focus entirely on her recovery without the added burden of financial stress. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to giving her this second chance.
