Hi, my name is Elvira, and I am fundraising on behalf of friends of our dear friend Abdullah, who sadly passed away last Monday after struggling with mental health for many years.

His loss has deeply affected everyone who knew him. Abdullah was a kind person and a valued friend, and we want to make sure he receives the dignified farewell he deserves.

As Muslims, burial traditions are very important. Unlike cremation, which is common in the UK, the faith requires a proper burial according to Islamic traditions.

Unfortunately, funeral and burial costs can be very high, and arrangements need to be made very quickly, as the authorities cannot hold his body for long.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of:

• Funeral arrangements

• Burial and cemetery fees

• Preparation of the body according to Islamic tradition
