Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,
Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Recently, we received devastating news—our beloved dog Wick was diagnosed with bone cancer in his front right leg. For our boys, he’s not just a pet—he’s their best friend, their comfort, and a cherished member of our family.
The cancer meant we had to make a heartbreaking but life-saving decision: amputation of his leg. Wick is currently recovering from surgery, and though he faces a long road ahead, his prognosis is good. He’s showing incredible strength and resilience already.
As you can imagine, the veterinary bills and ongoing care costs are significant. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re asking for your support—any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward Wick’s medical care, therapy, and recovery needs.
If you’re able to contribute or simply share our story, we would be forever grateful. Your kindness will help give Wick the second chance he deserves—and bring healing to our boys’ broken hearts.
If you would rather make a donation to Wick’s care directly to the vet, he was taken care of at Ancare Veterinary Clinic here in Missoula, MT. Dr. Cathy Mikesell took excellent care of our Wick for us!
Thank you so much for being part of our journey.
