Help us give our dad, James, the resting place he deserves
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Paige Devine and I’m fundraising on behalf of myself and my younger siblings to give our dad, James McLean Devine, a peaceful and permanent resting place.
Our dad passed away on the 1st January 2025, at just 40 years old. His death was sudden and extremely tragic, he had struggled for a very long time with his mental health and on New Year’s Day, the demons he had battled for so long finally became too much and as a result of this we lost our dad.
No words can fully express the heartbreak we feel.
We're still trying to come to terms with it all, and the grief is something words can’t fully describe.
What we do know is this: our dad was absolutely hilarious, always finding a way to make us laugh even when life was difficult. He had such a big heart and would do anything to make his children smile. He loved each of us deeply, and that love is something we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives.
Right now, we’re hoping to raise £4,947 to give him the proper resting place he deserves.
Unfortunately, we don't have the means to do this on our own, but we know how much it would mean—not just to us, but to everyone who loved him.
He was our rock, and while nothing can fill the space he's left behind, having somewhere to remember him would bring us comfort and peace.
We want somewhere we can visit on birthdays, holidays, or just on the days when we miss him a little more than usual. A place where we can talk to him, remember the good times, and feel close to him.
We know times are hard for many, Any amount you’re able to give—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. And if you’re not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this page. Every bit of support helps us get closer to our goal.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for supporting us through this unimaginable time. Your kindness truly means more than we can say.
With love and gratitude,
