I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but here I am. Recently, I had to take out loans to pay for lawyer fees so I could bring my son from another state and legally get custody from his mother. His living conditions were not what I wanted for him, and I knew I had to do whatever it took to give him a better life. The legal process was long and expensive, but I’m grateful every day that he’s now with us, safe and able to start fresh.

Now that my son is here, there are so many things he wants and needs to do—things I want to give him. My wife and I are actively making all the loan payments and haven’t missed one, but it’s definitely putting a strain on our other bills and daily expenses. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward repaying those loans, which will free up money for my son’s needs and help us get back on our feet.
