On the morning of 11/23/25, my father, Stephen Z. Balogh, passed away. This wasn't an unexpected death, as it has been anticipated these last couple of months, but none of us were financially prepared for it. Right now, I'm going to be the sole provider for the funeral, and with recent emergency car issues, this is not something I can burden solely to give mine and my brother's dad a proper goodbye.
Currently, the plan is to have him cremated at Adams Mason Funeral on 11/25. Currently, the expenses total around $954.99, which only a third of that needs to be paid at that time. From what I understand, this will not include any sort of service. I will be communicating with the funeral home for what it'll be for a proper service, but I know we're looking at somewhere between $1,500-$2,000
What we hope to accomplish with this is to help lighten the load of this financial burden and afford a proper service so that way friends and family can get the opportunity to say goodbye, as there are many with fond memories of my dad.
Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
