On 10/25, Marcia Pinateli, the matriarch of my family, a veteran PC cab driver, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed surrounded by family and while sleeping peacefully. The world’s most beautiful woman and my truest and greatest friend left me to rejoin her son in heaven. My safe space and the person I could go to no matter what. My mama. The keeper of all my secrets. The most excited person in the room everytime she found out she’d be a great grandma. The best grandma in the universe. I am just so lost and distraught and cannot picture life without you. This next journey of life seems unimaginable, my kids needed more time, I selfishly needed more time. And now I’m left to mourn the loss of you when I need you most.

As we all know, these times can become quite financial burdens on us, the surviving family, especially if we were not prepared. I humbly ask if anyone can either help or share this. I would love to be able to give my grandma the proper homecoming she deserves. As someone who gave with all of her heart to all of us in need, what a better way to send her off than with all the love she is entitled to. I thank you all so much for your consideration.
