Help Us Give Our Mom the Care She Deserves

Just a few months ago, in January 2026, our lives changed forever.

What began as a medical emergency quickly became a series of devastating health setbacks. Since then, our beloved 75-year-old mother has suffered multiple strokes that have dramatically changed every aspect of her life.

Today, she is completely bedridden.

The strokes have taken away her ability to walk, left her with very limited ability to communicate, and she now depends on a PEG feeding tube for all of her nutrition. Every day requires constant medical attention, careful monitoring, and around-the-clock care for even the most basic needs.

Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking.

Our mom spent her life caring for others. She raised a family by herself, celebrated our milestones, comforted us through difficult moments, and gave everything she had to the people she loved. She always had food for anyone who needed it, and she has always been the mom her kids' friends could count on. Now, she needs others to care for her with the same compassion and dignity she always showed to those around her.

As her family, we have done everything we possibly can to keep her safe and comfortable. But her medical needs have progressed beyond what we can safely provide at home.

She now requires placement in a skilled nursing facility where trained professionals can provide the level of care she deserves.

The financial reality, however, has been overwhelming.

We are hoping to raise 30,000 to cover approximately 3 to 6 months of nursing home care. At the same time, our family works through the necessary financial and administrative processes to secure permanent funding for her long-term care. This fundraiser is intended to bridge that gap so that her care is never interrupted during this critical time.

We know these are difficult times for many families, and we don't ask for help lightly. But today, we are setting aside our pride because our mother's well-being depends on it.
