Help Us Give Markie a Proper Farewell

I don’t even know where to begin. It’s hard to find the words right now, but as most of you know we lost my brother Saturday morning. We were getting ready to drive back home from a vacation in the mountains when my mother’s phone rang. I answered the call and was told it was the police, I never expected what was to come next. Our mother’s screams are all I can hear in my head. I knew what they had told her, I knew it, I could feel it in my bones. My brother is gone and we are all suffering with the worst grief imaginable. Never did we think we’d be coming home to plan my brothers funeral. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard this is on all of us, especially his little girls. My mother isn’t fond of asking for help so I’m here to speak for us all. We are planning my baby brothers funeral and we need some help. Anything and everything is truly, deeply appreciated. This was so unexpected and we want to give him a proper service, where we can all say goodbye to Markie. I don’t know what else to say, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Markie was loved by SO many of you! He lit up a room with his smile. He made us all laugh with his goofy sense of humor. He was just simply the best. He deserves the best.
