First, if you know Marissa and/or Cohen, please refrain from letting them find out about this, the proposal is a HUGE surprise for Marissa and the funds are a surprise for Cohen, these poor kids are facing such a difficult situation and we want to be able to make these moments magical for them!

Marissa has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS), at the young age of just 20 years old. The cancer has spread throughout her whole body, with one spot putting a substantial amount of pressure on her optic nerve, this unfortunately is inoperable. She is being treated currently with radiation in hopes to gain some function back in her eye, and she starts immunotherapy this week as well.

Marissa is staying positive and hopeful, but also knows that her earthly life could possibly be cut shorter than any of us expected, and she has one wish that she wants to come true, to marry the love of her life, Cohen.

Marissa deserves her dream wedding, and we want to do whatever we can to make that happen for her! Under the circumstances, there is definitely a sense of urgency and we are facing a bit of a time crunch, Marissa still feels “good” for the most part, and we want her to enjoy her special day without feeling ill from the cancer or the treatments.

All donations will go directly to planning the memorable proposal (the ring), planning their beautiful wedding within just a couple of months, and sending them on a short/local but special honeymoon together that won’t interfere with Marissa’s treatment. Anything raised on top of that will go directly to Cohen and Marissa to help them with the expenses of starting their lives together as husband and wife and making precious memories together ❤️
