My husband Ryan and I are urgently hoping to raise funds to help cover the cost of eye surgery for our wonderful dog Luna.

Luna is a mixed-breed rescue from North Macedonia. We adopted her in 2021 through the amazing charity Amos, and has been our best friend ever since.

Luna, at just 3 years old, has been diagnosed with generalized progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) and cataracts in both eyes. Already blind in her right eye, and her left eye rapidly deteriorating, without surgery she is expected to lose her remaining vision entirely within a year. Additional complications due to issues with both posterior lenses and fluid leaking into the back of her eye, are also causing inflammation and severe pain.

As our insurance only covers 75% of the total cost we’re facing significant new expenses and have difficulties funding the remaining surgery’s cost.

Any help you can offer, contributing to the shortfall, would mean the world to us. Luna is so precious to the family, and she’s far too young to be enduring not only the pain but also the loss of her sight.
