Help Us Give Luke the Farewell He Deserves

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out as a brother and sister who are grieving alongside our beloved sister, Staci, after the unimaginable loss of her 12 year old son, and our nephew, Luke.

Luke was a light in our family—sweet, strong, and full of love despite the many medical challenges he faced every single day of his life. He brought joy to everyone who knew him, and his spirit left a mark far deeper than his years.

Now, as we prepare to lay Luke to rest, our sister is facing the heavy burden of funeral expenses. Even the most modest arrangements are estimated to cost over $15,000, and unfortunately, due to Luke’s lifelong medical conditions, she was never able to secure life or burial insurance for him.

Additionally, the day he passed, Staci also lost her income because caring for him was her full-time job through the state. Now, not only is she having to mourn the loss of her only son, but she also has to navigate finding a new job for the first time in 12 years. There is no financial grace period for her to search for and secure a new job, so we’d like to help support her by at least paying for her rent for a few months until she can find a new job.

We want to give Luke a dignified farewell—one that reflects the love he gave and the strength he showed every single day.
