Our family is reaching out during an unimaginable and heartbreaking time to ask for your support.

Leslie was tragically involved in a devastating accident where he was struck by a car alongside his young son whilst taking his son to school, He sustained catastrophic injuries, including multiple skull fractures, severe brain swelling and bleeding, and multiple rib fractures that punctured his lung. Leslie is currently on life support, and our family has been given the heartbreaking news that there is nothing more that can be done for him, whilst holding onto hope for a miracle.

His young son was life-flighted to Brisbane with a serious head injury and is currently in an induced coma. Our family is praying and hoping with everything we have for his recovery.

Les is a strong kind hearted person who is always good for a laugh, even if on days you dont feel like laughing, if Les is there you’ll be laughing. No matter what life throws his way. Just shy of 5 years ago he lost his eldest son unexpectedly at just 14 years old, despite the heart breaking loss les continued to show incredible strength and was there for his children and those around him.

We are now faced with the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye to Leslie while also supporting his children through an unimaginable ordeal.

We are asking for donations to help our family cover the costs of Leslie’s funeral and farewell, as well as the unexpected expenses that come with such a devastating situation. Any funds raised will help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time and allow Our family to focus on being together, supporting Leslies children, and giving Leslie the loving farewell he deserves.
