Help Us Honor Our Beloved Father With A Beautiful Farewell.

On September 8th, my father, Eduardo, was rushed into the emergency room due to some health complications. Shortly after arriving, we found out that Eduardo was fighting leukemia unknowingly. My dad was set on fighting this illness and doing whatever it took to make it home. Unfortunately, his battle with cancer was cut short, and my father gained his angel wings on September 19th, 2024.

For anybody that knew Eduardo, they knew he was an incredible father, always there for all of his kids. They knew he was a loving husband, a great brother, and an amazing friend, and an amazing grandfather to two beautiful babies, always so charismatic and cheerful, and willing to help anyone.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of our father. We can’t even put together how something like this happened so quickly.

This tragedy has affected our entire family and Eduardo’s wife tremendously. Nobody was prepared or even thought we would have to be planning a funeral soon.

With that being said, I am organizing this GoFundMe for my stepmom today, who is grieving and trying to figure out how she will come up with funds to give my father the proper funeral he deserves. All funds will go towards my father’s funeral and helping my stepmom with any bills she may have. Anything helps. Thank you.

El 8 de septiembre, mi padre, Eduardo, fue llevado de urgencia a la sala de emergencias debido a algunas complicaciones de salud. Poco después de llegar, nos enteramos de que Eduardo estaba luchando contra la leucemia sin saberlo. Mi padre estaba decidido a luchar contra esta enfermedad y hacer lo que fuera necesario para volver a casa. Desafortunadamente, su batalla contra el cáncer se truncó y mi padre obtuvo sus alas de ángel el 19 de septiembre de 2024.

Todos los que conocían a Eduardo sabían que era un padre increíble, siempre presente para todos sus hijos. Sabían que era un esposo amoroso, un gran hermano y un amigo increíble, y un abuelo increíble para dos hermosos bebés, siempre tan carismático y alegre, y dispuesto a ayudar a cualquiera.

Estamos profundamente entristecidos por la pérdida de nuestro padre. Ni siquiera podemos imaginar cómo algo así sucedió tan rápido.

Esta tragedia ha afectado enormemente a toda nuestra familia y a la esposa de Eduardo. Nadie estaba preparado ni siquiera pensó que tendríamos que estar planeando un funeral pronto.

Dicho esto, hoy estoy organizando esta campaña de GoFundMe para mi madrastra, que está de luto y está tratando de averiguar cómo conseguirá los fondos para darle a mi padre el funeral apropiado que se merece. Todos los fondos se destinarán al funeral de mi padre y a ayudar a mi madrastra con las facturas que pueda tener. Cualquier ayuda ayuda. Gracias.
