Help Us Say our final Goodbye to Eddie ❤️
Donation protected
It’s with heavy hearts that we’ve created this GoFundMe which is something we never imagined we’d have to do, in memory of our amazing grandad and dad, Eddie Bosomworth.
Eddie passed away on the 30th of May at the age of 69, after bravely fighting cancer not once, but four times. He beat it three times, in his lip, jaw, and neck. But this last battle was one he couldn’t win. It was terminal, and despite his strength and courage, we had to say goodbye far too soon. Eddie was one of a kind. A proud Army veteran, who was in the Royal Air Force regiment, a dad to three, and a grandad to six beautiful grandkids. He was the kind of person who’d drop everything to help someone, whether it was family, a neighbour, or even a stranger. He spent his life lifting people up, and now it’s our turn to do the same for him.
As we come to terms with losing him, we’re also trying to manage the cost of giving him the send-off he deserves. Funerals are so expensive, and we want to make sure Eddie gets a goodbye that reflects the love, strength, and kindness he showed every single day.
If you’re able to help, whether by donating or just sharing this page, it would mean the world to us. Every bit of support lifts some of the weight off our shoulders and helps us focus on celebrating Eddie’s life the way he would’ve wanted.
He fought until the very end, with so much courage. We’ll carry him with us always. Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this really tough time.
With love,
All of us who loved Eddie
