Help Us Give Denise Robinson a Beautiful Farewell

Hello friends and family, my Aunt Denise Robinson aka (Niecy) passed away suddenly Tuesday, night on July 16, 2024. We are asking for donations to help give her the burial and memorial service that she deserves.

Denise liked to listen to audiobooks, reading, journaling with calligraphy, and binge-watching shows. She was an accountant by trade and worked for the council of governments. She took great pride in her job and would start working early and stay late if that is what it took to get the job done, or if she had to cover for someone else.

Aunt Niecy had a great sense of humor. She liked watching old roasts of Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx on YouTube and Instagram. She shared funny stories and videos, and liked to receive them if they weren’t too raunchy.

Denise kept learning, thru books, audiobooks, online classes and YouTube. She admired the Journaling Influencers and thought about being one if she could get out of her shyness for the camera.

She was a Washington, DC native who attended McKinley Technology High School and was a proud graduate of Howard University, with a degree in accounting. She lived in Upper Marlboro, MD. She didn’t drive but always found a way to get around in the Suburbs or just Downtown.

She was a cancer survivor, a wonderful aunt and sister, a great listener, and a dear, true friend.

We have finalized the funeral arrangements for my Aunt Niecy. Her memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11am at New Hope AME Church located 12310 Washington Sq. Waldorf, MD 20601.
