Help Us Give Dad a Fighting Chance
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Aileen (AJ). My Dad, Neil, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 oesophageal cancer, and our world has been turned upside down. He is the heart of our family - a loving husband, father, friend, and soon to be grandfather who has always put others before himself. Now, he’s facing the toughest battle of his life.
Despite his bravery and determination, the NHS has told us they cannot offer curative treatment and have placed him on palliative care. This devastating news has left us feeling heartbroken but not hopeless. We refuse to accept that there’s nothing more that can be done for him.
We’ve discovered Hope4Cancer, a renowned treatment centre in Tijuana, Mexico, offering innovative, non-toxic therapies that have given hope to so many families like ours. After extensive research and conversations with others who’ve sought treatment there, we believe this could be the lifeline Dad needs.
However, the costs for treatment, travel, and accommodations are overwhelming. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community, family, friends, and anyone willing to help us give Dad the chance he deserves.
How You Can Help
We’re aiming to raise £30,000 to cover:
- Treatment costs at Hope4Cancer
- Flights and travel expenses
- Accommodation in Mexico during his treatment
- Follow-up care and support
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Dad the chance to fight this disease. If you’re unable to donate, we would be so grateful if you could share this page with your network to help spread the word.
About Our Dad
Dad is the rock of our family - he always there with a smile, a joke, and an endless supply of love and support. He’s a fighter and refuses to give up, and we’re determined to fight alongside him.
He has always had a deep love for Scotland and its breathtaking mountains. A passionate hillwalker, Dad has led countless people on walks, sharing his knowledge and inspiring others to discover the beauty of Scotland’s wild places. His joy for the outdoors is infectious, and he’s brought so much light and adventure into so many lives.
Your generosity means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give Dad hope, strength, and a chance at life.
With love and gratitude,
Yvonne, Aileen, Jamie and family x
