On October 12, 2025, Charlie Bennett was found face down and not breathing after a devastating fall that broke his neck. We hadn’t heard from him in two days, and when his brother Keith checked on him, he discovered him unresponsive. Thankfully, he was able to save him — but the road since then has been heartbreaking.

For the past two months, Charlie has fought with everything he has. He has endured multiple surgeries, endless complications, and tremendous pain. Despite all efforts, he remains fully paralyzed, and now his organs are slowly beginning to fail. After many emotional conversations, Charlie made the brave and peaceful decision this weekend to transition to hospice care.

As we prepare for this next chapter, we are facing another heavy reality: Charlie does not have any funeral or burial coverage. The financial burden has fallen on us, Charlie’s family, more so Keith, who wants nothing more than to honor his brother with dignity, but the costs are overwhelming and with the holidays here I know it is for everything.
