It is with heavy hearts that we announce the current state of our beloved father, Charles Adames, he has always brought joy and light into the lives of everyone he met.
On September 25th of last year, our world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung, liver, and brain cancer. Despite undergoing brain surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments, he faced each challenge with remarkable strength and determination. However, in July, we received the heartbreaking news that the cancer had spread to his bones, and we had to make the difficult decision to place him in hospice care as his health rapidly declined.
For those fortunate enough to know him, our father was a radiant presence, lighting up any room with his infectious smile and larger-than-life personality. He was not just an outstanding husband and father and Grandfather for nearly 50 years, but also a friend to many.
His love for music was evident; he taught himself to play the bass guitar and shared countless unforgettable moments playing in a band with his brother and cousin. Additionally, his passion for trains led him to create a personal train room filled with intricate model setups, a testament to his creativity and dedication.
Though he will soon leave us, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We take comfort in knowing that he will be free from pain when he closes his eyes and takes his last breath here he will open his eyes in heaven and be in the arms of Jesus and will be lovingly remembered for his warmth, humor, and the music that filled our lives.
In spite of the difficulties and the hardships to contain our emotional struggles we humbly ask for donations to help give my father the proper good bye he deserves.
