In Loving Memory of Celia Silva

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Celia Silva, who left us on June 25th. Celia was so much more than a mom — she was the heart of our family, the laughter in the room, and the hands behind countless unforgettable meals.

Celia was proud of her Mexican heritage. She brought our family together with her incredible cooking — her homemade flour tortillas were legendary no one could make a burrito like she could. Cooking wasn’t just something she did, it was her way of showing love.

She loved Tejano music and had a passion for dancing. She was full of life and never passed up a chance to move to the beat — whether it was at a party, in the kitchen, or just with the radio on at home. If you knew Celia, you know she had a great sense of humor — she could tell a dirty joke like no one else she always had us laughing.

More than anything she loved her family. She adored her grandkids, and was deeply close to her brothers and sisters. She was a loyal, loving, strong woman of faith and her loss leaves a huge hole in our hearts.

We are asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses as we say goodbye to this beautiful soul. Anything you can give is deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us honor my moms memory and give her the farewell she deserves.
