Help Us Give Casey Hennessy the Send Off He Deserves

My name is Jason Swaryczewski, and I am raising funds to give my brother Casey Hennessy, the farewell he truly deserves.

On 26.02.2025, Casey tragically passed away in a house fire, leaving behind a heartbroken family and so many people who loved him. He was a brother, father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and uncle a man whose kind heart and infectious laughter touched everyone who knew him.

If you’re from St Albans, chances are you knew Casey. He was a well known face, always stopping to chat, crack a joke, or lend a hand. He had time for everyone and never failed to make people smile.

No matter what life threw at him, Casey always put others first. He cared deeply for our Nan, looking after her as she got older, and always made sure his friends and family were okay. His jokes, pranks, and generosity made him unforgettable he was the kind of person who would give you his last penny without hesitation.

With the money raised, we will be able to support a memorial service and cremation for Casey. One of his final wishes was to have his ashes scattered at sea in Southend, just as we did for our mum when she passed away. This will bring him back to her, in the place they both loved.

We want to honour Casey in the best way possible. Any donation, big or small, will help us give him the goodbye he deserves. We will share details of the funeral and wake soon, and anyone who knew Casey is welcome to attend. He loved a gathering of family and friends, and we know he would want everyone to come together to celebrate his life.
