Help Us Give Braxton Lee Mozingo a Beautiful Farewell

Guys, Whitney and I are truly lost for words. Our baby boy, Braxton Lee Mozingo, was born on December 17, 2024, and was taken home far too soon on March 9, 2025. This was never something we could have prepared for, and as his father, I feel completely lost. Braxton was/is my only son, my whole world, just as all of my children are, but losing him has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled.

Braxton never got the chance to experience the world, and now, my only wish is to give him the love, honor, and peace he deserves. We are raising funds to give our baby a beautiful farewell, starting with a visitation service in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

From there, my brother and I will personally drive him to Texas. I never got the chance to take my son on a journey in life, but I want to take him on one now, to his final resting place. Once we arrive, we will hold a funeral service at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.

I am personally draining everything I’ve saved to make sure my baby gets the goodbye he deserves. But even with everything I have and everything anyone donates, it still wouldn’t feel like enough, because Braxton deserves the world. He was a sweet, innocent baby who brought so much joy to our lives. At just a month and a half to two months old, he was already lifting his head, rolling over, and even pushing off hands to move himself. He was strong, full of life, and always smiling. He was just a joyful baby to be around, and I am so deeply sorry to everyone who never got the chance to meet my baby boy.

In addition to his services, we want to create lasting memorials in his honor, such as rings with his fingerprints, so we can always carry a piece of him with us. We are asking for help in raising $20,000 to cover the costs of his transportation, services, burial, and memorial keepsakes.
