Help Us Honor Aunt Claire

Today, our family received heartbreaking news—our beloved Aunt Claire gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are also faced with the reality that her life insurance was lost years ago, leaving us without the means to give her the proper farewell she deserves.

If you knew Claire, you know she would never let you know when she was struggling. She was the type to figure it out on her own, no matter what. She never met a stranger—her door was always open to anyone in need. If someone needed a place to stay, she made sure they had one. If you needed a laugh, she was spunky and silly. If you needed love, her heart for children and family was unmatched. She would truly give you the shirt off her back.

For me personally, Claire was more than just an aunt. She took me and my kids in and treated us as her own. She has always been there, through everything, and her love and care left a mark on everyone she met. She was not only a loving mother but a mother figure to many, and someone very, very special to me.

During this painful time, our family is doing everything we can to figure out how to send her home properly. If you have it in your heart to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to us and help us honor Claire the way she deserves.
