As a family, we are now facing something we never imagined we would have to face: **trying to get our son and brother home** We are doing everything we can to get Andrew back home so we can begin the burial process and grieve in the comfort of family

Past Update: Andrew's success at Loma Linda as a cancer patient has come to an end as Loma Linda had exhausted all possible options to bring him into remission. At this point, California cancer hospitals are no longer able to care for Andrew or continue his fight medically or through insurance.

However, U.T. MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas has agreed to give Andrew a chance at success through a clinical trial. This is an opportunity that can save Andrew's life, but we need to act quickly.

In order to get Andrew and my mom to Houston, Andrew needs a medical transport and my mom needs to able to live in Houston during his treatments. They will also need to be able to get home at some point.

With this in mind, we are asking, again, for donations. If you have been following Andrew's story, you know that we need funds as fast as possible to get him back on track for possible remission. My brother Andrew was diagnosed in June with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and from that moment on, our family's entire world shifted. Watching him face something so heavy and draining at such a young age has brought a kind of pain and worry no family is ever prepared for.

Since then, Andrew has undergone multiple stages of chemotherapy treatment; he sustained multiple injuries and irritations to his body as a result of his weakened state; he has been in and out of the hospital; and our family has been in a constant state of distress as we work to navigate this difficult time.

Although we hoped that Andrew was through the worst of it, we recently found out that the cancer has come back and is worse than ever. The cancer has now spread to his brain and eye. Four out of the five tumors in his body are in his brain. He now faces life or death level treatments, including a bone marrow transplant. Our family's heart is shattered for our Andrew and we know he faces a hard battle to survive. As his family, we hope to support him as much as possible.

As a result, we are in need of support from our community so that we can be there for Andrew. Your support would give Andrew a better opportunity for comfort and provide him and our family the strength we all need as he continues to fight this battle.
