Dear Friends,
Last year, between August 2024 and February 2025 we faced a heartbreaking reality as we spent over £50,000 on veterinary bills to ensure the health and well-being of our rescued animals. This included essential vaccinations, blood tests, neutering, and critical surgeries. Our mission has always been to help local families struggling to afford veterinary care, allowing them to keep their beloved pets during tough times.
Despite our efforts, we are now in a challenging position. The funds raised through our previous fundraisers have significantly dwindled, and we are reaching out for help. Without your support, we may have to stop taking in animals, which would be devastating for the furry friends who rely on us.
Today, we are urgently seeking to raise £2,000 to pay off our current veterinary bills. We are facing challenges with one particular vet who has refused to support us after failing to address a hernia in one of our dogs, resulting in another unnecessary surgery. The situation has compounded our financial strain, and we desperately need your help.
While we do charge an adoption fee, it often falls short of covering the costs required to prepare animals for adoption. We also have dogs in rehabilitation that require ongoing care and resources.
We are pleading for your generosity to help us raise the £2,000 needed to settle one of our veterinary bills. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and allow us to continue our work in rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats in need.
Together, we can ensure that every animal gets the care they deserve and a chance at a loving home. Thank you for your support!
With heartfelt gratitude,
