Hi, we’re Katie and Colton, proud parents of our beautiful baby girl, Lucy Raven Haley.

Lucy has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that has caused multiple medical emergencies, resulting in serious complications in her brain. She’s spent weeks in intensive care fighting harder than any baby ever should.

Recently, Lucy was also diagnosed with epilepsy and while we’re hopeful she’ll be coming home soon, her condition remains sensitive. She’ll need ongoing specialist care, therapy, and close monitoring for the foreseeable future.

To give Lucy the best possible outcomes for her recovery and development, we need to be close to John Hunter Hospital (where her specialists are). But the reality is.. we can’t work right now. We’re doing everything we can to support her, which means travelling back and forth to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, moving between accommodation, meals, fuel, and more. On top of trying to keep our little family afloat.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

• Travel to and from JJH

• Essentials like food and daily living costs during this time

• Emergency costs, medications, and care-related expenses

• Relocation to Newcastle to be near her medical team where she can receive the best care.

Lucy has suffered so much at such a young age and no baby deserves that. What she needs now is safety, stability, and for her parents to be by her side, every step of the way.

Asking for help isn’t easy, but we’re doing this for our daughter.
