Hi everyone. So, anyone who knows me knows that Zane is my entire life. Last Thursday he started not feeling well, vomiting, and became very lethargic. Over the weekend he did okay with initial medical treatment he was given.
However, Monday night he suddenly collapsed outside, became heavily nauseated again, and began declining. Bringing him to the emergency vet and having to hospitalize him has become very expensive, very quickly. Initially they suspected possible liver failure, current labs have shown otherwise. They now suspect possible pancreatitis and/or a foreign body in his upper GI tract which he would likely need surgery to remove. He continues to decline and is not doing better.
It hurts me to see him like this and to have to ask for financial help during this time for him. Without these treatments and diagnostics prognosis is poor and could turn badly for him very quickly. Our current medical bill (photos attached) is sitting at $2,832.39 and this is without a definitive answer of what’s wrong and without treatment.
