This is the last thing we ever wanted to do, especially when we know so many families are doing it tough right now.

But we have reached a point where we need help.

People have been asking how they can support us, and this is the most honest answer we can give.

Every day, it is not just lifting Tommy.

It is lifting his wheelchair as well.

In and out of the car, again and again, for every appointment, every therapy, every time we leave the house.

The physical strain is constant and it is no longer safe.

We are pushing our bodies to keep up, but the risk of injury to us and to Tommy is real, and it is getting harder to manage.

Tommy needs ongoing therapies and regular outings to continue progressing and to experience life beyond our home. Right now, getting him there is becoming a barrier.

A wheelchair accessible vehicle would change everything. It would allow us to transport him safely, continue his therapies, and keep everyone safe.

We are doing everything we can, but this is something we cannot do alone.
