Hello, my name is Kelsey and this is my teammates Lucy and Amy :)

The World Scholar's Cup is an international academic competition for students, focusing on debating, writing and trivia. It brings together people from all over the world to compete, leading to great social opportunities on top of academic opportunities.

In May 2026, we participated in the Gold Coast regional round and our team came 1st place, qualifying us for the global round. In September, we participated in the Christchurch global round, competing against schools and students from all across the world, overall coming 3rd place.

This result from the global round has qualified us for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, which would be a massive educational and social opportunity for us. We would be able to connect with top students from all around the world and compete against them in a difficult set of challenges.

However, the registration fee is very expensive. Our school paid the registration fees for the global and regional round, but they will not be providing financial support for this trip, which is why we kindly ask for any help to pay for this amazing opportunity.

Unfortunately our original third team member cannot go so as of 18/10/26 we are fundraising for our new team member Amy. Amy's team came 7th in the global round & 10th in regionals.

Any donations received will now be split between the three of us, and anything extra will be put further toward the trip. Any and all contributions are very appreciated. Thank you so much. :)
