Donation protected
We need your help getting us to the PGF National Championships in Huntington Beach!!! We are the 14u Nor Cal Bownet-Banister Fastpitch Softball Team coached by former 2x NCAA Division I softball national champion and former professional softball player Samantha “Sam” Banister. Through the game of softball, Coach Sam is building strong confident women and top athletes on and off of the field! Teamwork, discipline, accountability, selflessness and perseverance are all invaluable life lessons taught by Coach Sam that will benefit each player well beyond the softball diamond. We have a corps of amazing volunteer coaches that give selflessly of their knowledge, time, and talents to ensure that each girl develops as a player and as a person.
Recognized as the World Series of Girl’s Softball, the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National Championship Tournament is the ultimate goal for all competitive softball teams. In our first year as a 14u team, Coach Sam accomplished the impossible! We earned a national championship berth at the PGF Qualifier held in Portland, Oregon. We competed against top-ranked national powerhouse teams and our girls worked as a team, earning their berth to the most prestigious national tournament to be held throughout the Huntington Beach area from July 28 through August 4, 2018.
Our players are from Petaluma, Novato, Rohnert Park, Suisun City, Santa Rosa, Napa, San Rafael and…Mililani, Hawaii!
Donations of any size will help us get there! With only three-weeks left before we need to be in Southern California, we need your help! You can rest assured that our girls will compete hard with the dignity and sportsmanship that Coach Sam instills in all of us.
Next stop…Huntington Beach!!! Go Bows!!!
