Help us get to the Junos!

Hi! We at Augmented Trio Promotions (ATP) have a few dreams. We want Water, Rock, Tree, Sky (a CD yet to be released) to be nominated for a Juno award in the contemporary classical category in 2026 . And we want to present a successful concert series in Greater Victoria for our Augmented Trio Promotions ensembles as well as other musical friends in 2025-26. To achieve these, we need some financial assistance. Partners of ATP have already invested more than $1,000 in these projects. Will you please help us?

Vancouver Island Suite, written by Diane Berry (an ATP partner), along with another piece: Water, Rock, Tree, Sky, form the CD: Water, Rock, Tree, Sky. The seven pieces each reflect places around Vancouver Island, and were initially conceived along with Chef Castro Boateng for the Harmonizing Music and Food events. All but one piece was written for the Aerie Trio (flute, cello and piano). The other, the namesake of the CD title, was written for on the 'hat (voice, flute and clarinet) . The piece on the video for this GoFundMe campaign is the Rose Garden. Below is Creeks and Streams . Beaches, Rainforest, Garry Oak Meadow and Tidepools, along with the Prelude and Coda round out the rest of the suite.

Recording of the suite has already taken place. Sound engineer Tom Lang set up his equipment and each of the musicians in one of our living rooms and we impressed ourselves with our efficiency in laying down the tracks. 7 pieces as well as the Prelude and Coda.

Expenses for this project (and most of the $8,000 we are looking for) include recording the CD, getting the recording mixed/edited and formatted for CD, designing and printing the CD and liner notes, public relations, getting the CD distributed to broadcasters, getting the CD available on streaming services and of course, having a CD release event to start selling the CD.

Musical Melange is a concert series being presented by Augmented Trio Promotions with and at the Central Saanich United Church. Starting September 28, 2025, and every 4th Sunday of each month through May, 2026 at 2pm, different ensembles will present very inspired concerts. There will be classical, jazz, rock, contemporary classical music, and everything in between. Ensembles will feature flute, cello, voice, euphonium, bass, guitar, piano and rainstick!

Musicians will be paid from ticket sales for each of the concerts. Expenses that won't be covered by ticket sales include the graphic design, poster printing and insurance.

The Vancouver Island Suite has received enthusiastic feedback from each of the Harmonizing Music and Food events that we've done at the House of Boateng. We are excited for the opportunity to release the CD and take the steps to have it considered for a Juno Award.

Augmented Trio Promotions is a dynamic partnership created by three talented musicians in Victoria, British Columbia to promote their musical ensembles on Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia.
