Help Us Get to The Inauguration
We are asking for help going to the Presidential Inauguration in Washington D.C. on January 20th 2017. I am a single father who received sole custody of my 9 year old son a little over a year ago. He ended up in foster care due to his mother's drug addiction. It's been a rough road for him & he wants to go see the inauguration of a president in person. Money is always tight & this trip is impossible to finance on my own. I receive no assistance. I want to take him because I want him to see that anything is possible even when the world is telling you it's not. Unfortunatly i can't do this on my own & that's why I'm asking for your help. My son has had a lifetime of let downs already & he's is only 9. I don't like asking for help but my choices are extremely limited at this point. I recently learned of someone's gofundme page & that's when I got the idea to create this page even though i hesitated at first.
This is a very big deal to both of us & we will be forever grateful in this chance of a lifetime. The funding will be used to travel from New Jersey to Washington D.C. via train & back, a hotel room for two nights, & incidentals.
