Help us get to the Edinburgh Theater Festival

Hello, my name is Tavis Kammet and I am the Theater teacher at Hayward High School. We have an opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh Theater festival for the summer of 2024 and we want to take it!

I've been teaching at Hayward High for ten years and we've never planned anything this amazing!

I produce six plays a year at Hayward High and we've had great success when it comes to the work we create.

We have multiple award-winning actors and I want the chance for these kids to perform for a wide audience.

I also really want these kids to experience what it will be like to travel and perform in another country.

I was in a play at the Edinburgh festival at university and it was the greatest experience of my life. My students will benefit immensely from this going to the festival and performing.

These funds will be used to help the students who have a harder time being able to afford to go on this trip. I hope that we will raise enough money to cover at least half the price of the trip.

This trip is ten days and includes:

airfare

food

hotel

transportation

sightseeing

and most importantly, a venue for the students to perform at the festival.
