Hi, my name is Gavin Gomez and I was blessed enough to make it out of 300 talented young athletes to the 36 man USA training camp in Cary, North Carolina. On Friday, June 30th I learned that I made the 12U USA National Baseball team. It is a dream come true to represent my country, playing the game I love, and amongst 17 other very talented boys. With the help from God and my supportive family we will be leaving for Taiwan on July 25th to complete for the WBSC 12U World Championship.
It is extremely important to share this experience with my family as they have walked alongside me to get to where I am today. The funds I raise will help offset the cost to help with my families travel expenses to Taiwan and hotel costs associated with this trip.
