Hi everyone,

Our name is Ililli and Darartu. We’re two cousins, hardworking Franklin highs school students with big dreams and even bigger determination. This summer, we’ve been given a life-changing opportunity to study abroad in Spain with Educational Tours. Something that seems so out of reach for us, coming from low-income families, we are looking for other places to get money, so we can take advantage of these opportunities.

This isn’t just a trip. It’s everything to us. It’s a chance to step outside the world we’ve always known and explore another culture, expand our education, and grow as young women. It’s an opportunity to represent our community, learn in ways we never imagined, and bring those experiences back home to inspire others like us.

We come from a cultural background where opportunities like this don’t come often and when they do, they don’t come easily. We’ve been working hard, applying for scholarships, picking up extra shifts, and doing everything we can. But the total cost of the program is $9,000, and we need to raise the full amount by June 2nd. That’s why we need your help raising money with whatever you have to donate!
