Friends & Family,

For those of you that know our story, you understand what the train means to us. I’ve been bbqing with my dad since 2010, when I was 11 years old. As a dad, he taught us so many life lessons, but the biggest was to never give up on your dreams! We watched him build a train bbq from the ground up, to serve his community with great service, fair prices and a huge smile. Now, I look forward to passing these lessons down to our two girls. As we carry out the legacy of the late, GREAT, Ptrain, we also look forward to business in the future as husband and wife and humbly as for your help!

While on my way to a festival in San Diego on Saturday morning, a small sway in the bbq trailer turned into a violent “fishtail” on the 15S Freeway. The trailer flew across the freeway back and forth before whipping me into the right shoulder of the canyon and flipping the train!

Despite the circumstances, I felt God’s protection around me and nobody was injured. My husband was driving behind me, also on his way to the event and was able to pull me out of the truck to see the train. The bbq was flipped over into the first lane of the freeway, wheels up, with many parts across the first few lanes. CHP quickly arrived and were able to help direct traffic and get us towed away as soon as we were back on wheels.

After further inspection of the train, and a quote from the original custom BBQ fabricator, we are raising money to get our BBQ Train back on Track! We are hosting this GoFundMe and a “BBQ Sauce & Bake Sale” with a goal to get us back in operation!
