Help us get Tal to the USA

Tal is a rescue based in Amman-Jordan. He had a very critical spinal injury and a neck wound that was infested by maggots. Pictures of his rescue and progress can be found the rescue's Facebook: Malath-Canaan Rescue Jordan or Instagram: Canaanrescuejordan.

Tal was reported around a year ago by a kind person who had seen a dog that seemed to be paralyzed and severely injured crawling on a hill, hence the name Tal which is hill in Arabic.

He was luckily found and was rushed to the vet where he stayed for over a month there. X-ray showed that he had a fractured spine but we could not know if the spinal cord was severed or not or if we would be able to walk again.

Jordan veterinary care is still lacking with advanced equipment such as an MRI which is crucial to determine the extent of the damage. He was simply a mess.

Tal lucked out when he found a wonderful and experienced foster mom who did a small miracle with Tal. Month of physical therapy and he started to use his back legs for balance! bit by bit Tal became completely independent. His neck healed completely. It took long months for him to heal, but being the hero that he is.. he healed physically and mentally.

Tal has been waiting to find a home for a over a year now! We have posted him so many times with no luck. Finally, a wonderful foster home in the Texas agreed to take him in. As we are small rescue and are always short on funds, we need help in raising funds for Tal from Amman to Texas in the USA.

He is scheduled to fly in October. We are already started his serology test.
