What do blisters, beautiful countryside, and a Thai street dog have in common? Me, apparently. I’ve committed to walking 100 miles from the Cotswolds to Bath in October — 

all in the name of helping a rescue dog We saved in Thailand , get to their new life here in the UK. The dog? Brave, adorable, and totally worth it. Me? Slightly unfit, questioning my life choices, but determined. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a nice long walk let alone one this long , I’m giving my self 4 days to complete this so I’ll have to walk a total of 25 miles per day, it’s going to be beautiful, probably very painful and hopefully some good wether. Flights, medical checks, and paperwork aren’t cheap, so every step I take is to raise money to bring them home safely. Donate, cheer me on, or send blister plasters — as Tesco would say , every little helps.

Me and my partner have been travelling south east Asia for the last 5 months,

on our trip we have visited many dog sanctuarys and seen so many dogs on the street and have fallen in love with so many.

This is our last week in Thailand and we are due to go back to the uk at the end of the week as our visas expire.

A few nights ago we were driving on a road which has many strays and we saw a very sick puppy in the middle of the road we stopped to see if she was okay and to try and give her some food , unfortuanly she wouldn’t eat and was spitting blood , not knowing what else to do we put her in the car and brought her back to our hotel with plans to take her to the only vet available in the area in the morning , she is a beautiful but very sleep and weak doggy she has her crazy moment but over all is a very calm lady , we took her to the lovely vet who cared for her over night and fed and treated her and now she is back in our care.

We have messaged everyone we know and many many sanctuarys here in Thailand and because of the massive stray problem here they are all bursting at the seams and couldn’t take on a puppy

We have tried and asked everyone we know and just cannot find a forever home for this baby and we cannot bear the thought of putting her back on the street , the same street we have seen injured dogs with cars speeding down,

an amazing person has managed to find a temporary home for stripe but as they are such a full sanctuary they cannot take her forever

We really need some help to get the money to bring this beautiful doggy home

It will cost from 1-4 thousand and take 3 months

The sanctuary have been so kind to say they will help with the process but we have to find the funds .

if we have any funds remaining after getting stipe home that will go straight to animal sanctuary’s in need .

We wish we could re home her here but it just doesn’t seem to be an option at this point .

I know money is so tight for everyone and trying to find anything extra is so hard but please please help us bring her home every single penny or words of advise help
