Hi, my name is Gustavo and I'm reaching out on behalf of my sweet 2-year-old dog, Rocky.

Today, we took Rocky in to be neutered, expecting a routine procedure. But before the surgery began, the vet discovered something alarming—Rocky's heart was beating much faster than normal for a dog his age. Out of caution, the vet immediately stopped the procedure and recommended that we take Rocky to a specialist for further heart testing.

We were heartbroken and shocked. What started as a simple neutering turned into something far more serious. The vet explained that without knowing the condition of Rocky’s heart, using anesthesia could be extremely risky—even fatal. Before we can consider any surgery, Rocky needs specialized heart evaluations to find out if he has an underlying condition and whether it’s safe to proceed.

Unfortunately, the cost of seeing a cardiologist and running these necessary tests is more than we can afford right now. And even if we manage to get him cleared, getting him neutered at another clinic without a discount is still financially overwhelming for us.

Rocky is not just a pet—he’s family. He’s loving, playful, and brings joy to our lives every single day. We just want to make sure he’s healthy and safe, and to give him the care he deserves.
