Life can be an uphill battle but god is good and he has blessed our family.

My son Graycen is an amazing 5 year old boy born with a rare condition called Spinocerebellar ataxia type 5 also known as Lincolns disease. Primarily an inherited disorder.

But in Graycen’s case he had a spontaneous mutation in the SPTBN2 gene associated with SCA5. So far only 7 infantile case have ever been reported and 3 with the same mutation 1 being Graycen.

Graycen’s condition requires ongoing medical attention and specialized therapy sessions to ensure the best quality of life. However, the constant travel to a neurologist hours away and multiple weekly therapy appointments is taking a toll on our family—both emotionally and financially.

Our current vehicle is unreliable and not equipped to safely transport him, and his essential equipment, along with his three amazing older sisters.
