Help Us Get out of The South

I am a butch lesbian living in Arkansas. My roommates  are a trans man and a Hispanic gay man that are married to each other. 

Our families have all disowned us. From my facebook page, 11/9/2016:

"Guess who was just disowned.

I refuse to leave my real family high and dry. I refuse to abandon the people that have helped me far more than my biological parents ever did.

I am never speaking to my biological parents again.

If we do end up back in watertown, because I was bodily threatened last night before the election was even called, because we can't leave out house alone or unarmed, because smear the queer is now our national sport, it will be hard as hell.

But I'd rather be homeless and disowned in New York than dead in a ditch in Arkansas."

We are looking into going to the eastern seaboard. We have leads and people in Maine. If the absolute worst happens, we can move to my hometown. 

We need to get out of the south, as we are the top three groups on the Trump/Pence hit list.  I was already bodily threatened on election night- by someone I know. I hate to think what the people I don't know want to do to me. 

The truck was quoted at $900.  We would also like to rent a car as well, becuase 3 people in the front of a moving truck is very cramped. The car is quoted at $300. The rest is for gas, food, and just in case we need to spend the night somewhere or something breaks, etc.
