We are raising money to buy an electric folding wheelchair for our mother so she can get out of the house more and have an overall better quality of life. She’s struggled to get around for a long while now, even for things as basic as doctors appointments. Any little bit helps a ton!

A little background: Our mother has had somewhere around 9 spinal surgeries over the course of her life, each one having their own sets of complications that have made things like walking, standing, or even turning her head into painful tasks at times. We want to make going out for her easier because it genuinely breaks our hearts that she can’t experience anything outside of the house. The other huge thing is at times it can be so difficult for her to go to her appointments and we’d like to make that easier for her as well.

The wheelchair we are looking at is lightweight, foldable, compact, and is something she’s been wanting to get for the longest time but we just haven’t been able to afford it. Her birthday is coming up, and we’d love to be able to surprise her with this.
