Hi everyone! It's Izz from The Shop and Kate from Happy accidents. Today our guy Mike (most of y'all know him as Mighty Mike) is having open heart surgery. Not only is this a big deal on it's own, but the recovery for this surgery is 6 weeks. And to get such a major surgery without health insurance can mean the difference between making it and losing everything. Anyone who knows Mike, knows what a hard worker he is and how much he works to keeps a roof over his kids heads, and to provide for himself and his family. 6 weeks off of work is a HUGE loss for anyone individually, but for a small business, it could mean losing it all. We need your help to raise fund to keep Mike and his kids in his home, help with the medical bills, (which will be substantial without medical insurance) keep him from having to worry about getting back to work, and to keep our favorite BBQ guy in business. We all know how expensive medical bills are, we just want to help our guy out and get him back on his feet. Thanks y'all.
