About Me:
Hi, I'm Angelia Dawson. Some of you may know me, but so many of you do not. I am the owner of Supa Paws Pet Grooming LLC which is my baby company. I got started 3 weeks before COVID-19 took it's grasp on our country, forcing me to halt all house-call services and my plans of expanding . As a result we were shut down for 2 months. There were plans of getting a brick and mortar salon, however because I was unable to work all funds for expansion went to bills and keeping things afloat for my family and I. Although I have been able to groom from home I am at risk of losing my business as we rent our home and our landlord has asked me to stop grooming from home at the end of next month!
I have decided to start a crowdfunding campaign with the hopes of continuing my dream of owning a brick and mortar establishment to continue providing stress free spa days for the loving pets of Austin, TX.
So, who would benefit from me staying in business? Simple. Everyone with a pet! My goal is to continue providing a stress free grooming experience to both pet and parent. From offering lavender essential oil soaks, to giving relaxing massages. Giving tons of positive reinforcement, love, cuddles and homemade grain free treats to help pets learn that being groomed is and should always be a positive experience. I send multiple updates to pet parents so they know exactly how their dog is doing and when they pick up they are given a very detailed report.
If I am able to gain the support of my community and stay in business it would mean the world to me and my clients! It would also mean providing generational wealth for my son. All funds raised will go towards securing retail space, renovations and supplies. Any funds left over will be donated to Austin Pets Alive shelter to help all fur babies without a home in need!
