Help Us Get Oscar the Treatment He Deserves

Dear friends,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support in getting our beloved dog, Oscar, the medical care he urgently needs. Recently, Oscar developed a concerning growth on his snout, which the vet believes to be a tumour. It has been growing rapidly and is causing him increasing discomfort. While Oscar is still his happy, cheerful self, it’s painful to watch him struggle, and we know he needs treatment as soon as possible.

Oscar has been with our family through thick and thin. He’s not just a pet—he’s a loyal companion and a cherished member of our family. My young son, especially, has formed a deep bond with him, and it breaks my heart to see them both face this uncertainty. We want to do everything in our power to help him recover and get back to his energetic, playful self.

The vet has recommended immediate diagnostic tests, including a CT scan and a biopsy, which will cost an estimated $2,300. Additional treatments and care are expected to cost much more, and after going through a tough financial period due to a recent divorce, I’m unable to cover these expenses on my own. My 10-year-old son, who is very attached to Oscar, even offered to donate his Christmas money to help, but I would never ask him to give up his gift. Unfortunately, it's still not enough to cover the full cost of Oscar’s treatment.
