Debbie's Memorial Fundraiser
Donation protected
On the evening of the 18th, we lost our beloved Debbie after a 6 year battle with cancer. She meant the world to us. She loved her family tremendously & would want everyone to be together to celebrate her life. The last thing she would want is for us to grieve alone.
We are raising funds in order to have a memorial for Debbie where most of her family resides... in Toronto. The memorial is planned for the weekend of June 22nd (further details to follow.) Everyone who knew Debbie is invited to attend. Funds raised will primarily go towards the church, hall, catering, my mom's flights & other family member's flights (if needed,) accommodations, transportation, etc. The funds will also help offset the many unexpected expenses our family has incurred with last-minute flights, moving, shipping, mortuary expenses etc. Unfortunately, Debbie was only 36 when she was diagnosed & we did not have the forethought to get her life insurance before she became ill.
Even though she fought bravely for 6 years (she never once complained,) her passing was sudden in that we thought she would be released from the hospital in a matter of days. No one could foresee that she would take a turn for the worst.
Thank you all so much for offering your assistance during this trying time. Every little bit truly helps. Any and all donations are sincerely appreciated.
