Recent scans showed that my dad has a large tumor on his bladder. His doctors have advised that he be evaluated by specialists as soon as possible, and the Mayo Clinic has agreed to review his case. This gives us hope for answers, a clear treatment plan, and the best possible care.

Right now, we’re facing a major challenge. My dad is currently in a temporary insurance gap, and his new coverage does not begin until February. Because of this, Mayo Clinic requires an upfront payment of $10,000 before they can schedule his initial consultation and diagnostic evaluation. This timing makes an already stressful situation even more difficult, especially knowing that waiting could affect his treatment options.

My dad is 65, hardworking, and has always taken care of himself and others. This situation came on suddenly, and we’re doing everything we can to move quickly so he can be seen without delay. Our goal is simply to bridge this short-term gap so he can receive the care he urgently needs now.
